When you are gluing up a fresh set of tires, we've found best results by scuffing the wheel rims first, to allow the CA glue to penetrate and adhere to the plastic and rubber of the tire. This tool is designed so you can apply as little or as much pressure as you want on the sanding pads, to get the desired result on the wheel.
